Magnetic Closure Box

The Mechanic

Hinged lid with hidden magnetic snap.

The gold standard of the unboxing experience. Built with a solid structural core and concealed neodymium magnets, it delivers a satisfying 'snap' upon closing. Offers maximum real estate for internal lid printing and nested inserts.

Ideal For:

PR Seeding Kits, High-End Tech, VIP Gifts.

Standard Configurations:

  • Single or Double Hinge
  • Exposed or Concealed Magnets
  • Flat-Pack Collapsible Available

Telescopic (2-Piece) Box

The Mechanic

Friction-fit lift-off lid.

The classic 'Apple-style' rigid box. The lid slides over the base with calculated friction, creating a controlled, slow-release vacuum effect when opened. Precision die-cutting is mandatory here to achieve airtight tolerances.

Ideal For:

Retail Packaging, Cosmetics, Apparel.

Standard Configurations:

  • Full Cover or Partial Cover Lid
  • Neck/Shoulder Tray Options
  • Thumb-Cuts for Easy Opening

Drawer & Slipcase

The Mechanic

Sliding inner tray with outer sleeve.

A highly interactive format that requires the user to pull the internal tray outward via a custom ribbon or die-cut thumb hole. The outer slipcase provides an uninterrupted canvas for continuous wrapping artwork.

Ideal For:

Jewelry, Perfume, Confectionery.

Standard Configurations:

  • Ribbon Pull or Thumb-Cut
  • Reinforced Outer Sleeve
  • Multi-Tiered Drawer Options

Cylindrical Paper Tubes

The Mechanic

Rolled core with cap.

Manufactured by spirally winding layers of paper around a steel mandrel. Tubes offer incredible vertical crush resistance and stand out immediately on retail shelves dominated by square silhouettes.

Ideal For:

Spirits, Skincare, Rolled Apparel.

Standard Configurations:

  • Rolled Edges
  • Telescopic Caps
  • Food-Grade Foil Lining Available

Speak The Language.

Manufacturing requires exact terminology. Familiarize yourself with the core concepts of structural engineering before we map out your production run.

Dieline

The 2D flat architectural blueprint of your box. It maps out where the machines will cut, crease, and fold the structural board and wrapping paper.

Tolerance

The microscopic margin of error allowed in physical manufacturing. We engineer rigid boxes with a 0.1mm tolerance for perfect friction fits.

Insert / Fitment

The internal staging area that holds your product. Can be crafted from die-cut foam, molded pulp, or folded paperboard lined with velvet or suede.

V-Groove

A precision cut made partially through the structural board. This allows the heavy-duty material to fold at an exact 90-degree angle, creating incredibly sharp, premium corners.

Need a Custom Architecture?

If your product requires a completely bespoke shape, multi-tiered opening mechanism, or unique fitment, our structural engineers can build a white-blank prototype from scratch.
